ever so near
They reach out their
imperfect hearts
Trying to connect
Standing there with nothing
to say sometimes...
No matter
Blood runs thick
forgiveness
always in the air
a picnic
a barbecue
a day on the beach
Moments together
fill life
with purpose
with belonging
Family perfect
in it’s imperfection
Like glue
we stick together
Keeping each other
safe
from what life can throw
